5.8.4 Supporting File Naming Convention

Any document in a Batch that supports a message defined in this standard shall be placed into the same folder as the XML message and be named as follows: FFFF_NNNN.extwith:

  1. FFFF being the file name (without extension) of the file to which supporting information is provided;

  2. NNNN being a serial number; and

  3. ext being an extension suitable to the data type (e.g. xml for an XML file or csv for a comma-separated value flat file).
